from our library or enjoy star gazing into a spectacular
Northern Michigan sky. In the morning, start your
day with a wonderful, tantalizing full breakfast
in our sunroom or in our dining room.
Spring in the north is spectacular. The fragrances
and color of cherry, apple, and peach blossoms are
magnificent. Watching the wild flowers come back
to life after a long winters hibernation is amazing.
Searching for morel mushrooms is a wonderful way
to enjoy a walk through the woods.
In the summer, Northern Michigan is a paradise for
the water enthusiast. Enjoy fishing and swimming
in Torch Lake. Lake Michigan's beaches are just
minutes away. Boating on Torch is so beautiful,
consider bringing your own boat and enjoy the clean
aqua color waters of Torch Lake.
In the fall we are the perfect location for fall
color tours. East Torch Lake Drive is one of the
designated routes for color tours as listed by Traverse
Magazine. Enjoy the magnificent colors given to
you as a gift from nature.
Michigan is famous for skiing and other winter sports.
Nearby Shanty Creek Resort offers skiing, downhill
and cross country, snow boarding, and tubing. On
a starry winter night, enjoy a Guided Winter Rafting
Dinner Trip down the Jordan River. Snow shoeing
may be added to this tour.
